HIDDEN IN PLAIN VIEW:
Treasures from the Webb Deane Stevens Museum

Sometimes treasures go unnoticed, even in museums.

Among the hundreds of objects in the Museum’s historic houses are some which, given the chance, can tell fascinating stories. Placing these pieces in a gallery setting gives us an opportunity to literally see them in a different light.

Removed from the busy visual context of an historic house setting—or even from behind-the-scenes storage—such objects can stand on their own and in the process tell their own stories.

So, enjoy a feast for the eyes and the imagination!
