Would you like to learn from an expert horticulturist? Are you curious about historic gardens? Do you enjoy giving back to the community in a meaningful way? Then we want to chat with you! The Webb Deane Stevens Museum warmly invites you to attend a free garden volunteer informational session and reception on Sunday, April 7, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

You will meet our head gardener, Peter Winne, and learn more about the history of the Amy Cogswell Colonial Revival Garden on the campus of the Webb Deane Stevens Museum in the heart of Old Wethersfield. We’ll talk about all the available opportunities to support the garden, which sits on our beautiful 8-acre campus. You will also meet some of our current garden volunteers, and help us celebrate Ann Foley, our retiring garden volunteer coordinator.

You’ll receive a variety of perks as a garden volunteer, including free admission to the museum for yourself and a guest, as well as free admission to most of our community programs.

We hope you will join our team of dedicated garden volunteers! Please RSVP HERE by April 3.
