Travel between Hartford and Wethersfield the way people did in the 18th century—on the Connecticut River! Thanks to a partnership with the City of Hartford, Town of Wethersfield, and Slipaway Tours, you can catch a water taxi as part of your Friday evening plans.

We’ve added a special 5:15 tour time for a guided visit to the Webb, Deane, and Stevens Houses and a look at our American Girlhood and Remember the Ladies exhibitions.

PLUS—explore over 100 handmade scarecrows on your way up Main Street from Wethersfield Cove, part of the Old Wethersfield Shopkeepers Association’s 31st annual Scarecrows Along Main.

Seats on the taxi are limited, so book your tickets in advance!
